Q: keep getting error 4013 when trying to restore iPhone 5c (using iMac running OS X10.9.5)

Trying to restore and update an iPhone 5c with itunes running on an iMac running OS X 10.9.5. But, keep getting error 4013 right at end of process. Screen fades to black on phone too. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey tiotim,

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you get a 4013 error when you try to update the iOS. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

If you see error 4005, 4013, or 4014 when you restore your iOS device - Apple Support
