Iphone stuck on update bar screen. Won't turn on to normal phone screen.

While updating my iphone via itunes. an error occurred and now my iphone does not turn on to my normal screen. It simply shows the itunes and plug in icons. I tried restoring my phone and it wont do that either. Thoughts or ideas? Please ask if you need more information.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4.1, Was preparing to update to iOS9
