App Store hack

Well just recently the App Store was hacked by China. I had angry birds 2 on my device and that was one of the listed affected apps. Now I was going through a battery app which I haven't used in a long and it scanned for which apps took up the Most power. At the bottom, showed the least amount of power consuming but the letters were all on Chinese. I have no idea what that means or what that could be. Does that have to do with the hack against the App Store and angry birds 2? Also what could this code do to your phone should have it been put on there? Thanks. User uploaded file

No, the App Store was NOT hacked in China. Some developers used a hacked version of the development tool that creates apps, rather than the official version that Apple provides. The hacked version of xCode inserted malware into apps that were compiled using the hacked development tool. Any developer who did this should be permanently banned from the app store (but that's a whole 'nother story). The part of the news that got lost was that in spite of the malware no data has yet been compromised. If you have an app that has this problem you should delete it and wait for a safe version in the app store. And follow Meg's advice about Battery Doctor.
