Sep 23, 2015 8:36 PM in response to Linc Davisby apple_customer,Hi, Linc Davis.
I am not sure I understood the instructions at the link you provided.
I am running OS X Yosemite on my Mac(s) and iOS 8.3 on my iPhone and iPad. Notes has been a problem since I started using it. Reminders is working well and syncs between all devices.
Any ideas.
Thanks for your help.

ApplicationsOpen the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the box marked Notes. Confirm that you want to delete all iCloud notes—they'll still be in iCloud. Verify that all your notes are removed. If they are, check the box again. The notes should reappear. Test.

Sep 24, 2015 1:31 PM in response to apple_customerby Eric Root,Create a new note and then go to iCloud.com to see if the note is there. If it is, then the problem is the devices. If not, then the problem is the computer. Use Linc's suggestion for the computer. If it is the devices, do the same thing in Settings.

Sep 26, 2015 12:40 PM in response to Eric Rootby apple_customer,Hi, Linc Davis and Eric Root.
I have done some tests as you suggested and it appears the problem is isolated to one desktop computer. I can't get notes I write on this desktop computer to sync with iCloud and show up on other devices.
This computer is MacBook Pro 17" currently being used as a desktop (clamshell mode) and it is running OS X Yosemite 10.10.4.
Any ideas as to what I need to do to fix this behavior and get Notes to work properly ?
Thank you in advance.

Sep 27, 2015 7:45 PM in response to Linc Davisby apple_customer,Hi, Linc Davis.
I believe I did what you suggested. I went to preferences and iCloud, unchecked the box next to Notes and then checked it again. I wasn't greeted by any messages asking if I wanted to delete notes in iCloud. As I unchecked the box nothing happened. Next, when I checked the box again I spinning wheel appeared for a while and then disappeared but nothing else.
What I have noticed is that new notes created in this particular computer don't show up in iCloud and notes created in iCloud also don't show up in this computer. It is as if they aren't connected or synchronized.
I know I must be doing something wrong but I just can't figure out what it is. Any ideas ?
Thank you in advance.

ApplicationsLaunch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then uncheck and re-check the box. Select any lines that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Some private information, such as your name or email address, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
When you post the log extract, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "The message contains invalid characters." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the text on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

First I wish to thank you for all your help.
I have a question. Do you think El Capitan may solve this problem ? In other words, do you think I could solve the problem with Notes if I were to install El Capitan on the Mac that is having the problem with Notes ?
Thank you in advance.
