No, you cannot "transfer" purchases from one Apple ID to another one.

Are you just needing to change the ID itself? (for instance, because you have a new email address?)

Hi. Thanks for replying. I'm not transferring to another Apple ID, I just need to change the email address and the Apple ID login name of the existing one (I'm assuming the login name must be same as the primary email address).

OK, then you will not have an issue. You will still have the same Apple Account, just with a new "User Name" for the Apple ID on that account. So, everything will remain exactly the same.

****Be sure to sign out of iCloud on your iOS devices and computers before you change your Apple ID. If you don't, it is kind of a pain to get it signed out afterwards.****

Just in case you don't have the link, once you have signed out of iCloud on your devices and computers, you want to go to: Apple - My Apple ID to change your Apple ID. You will also want to make sure to sign out the old ID and sign in the new one in the following places:

Settings>iTunes & App Store on Devices

    iTunes on Mac or PC

    Mac App Store on Mac

    FaceTime on both

    Messages on both

    Cheers,
