After update to iOS 9 my iPad shows Google Books previews in giant font size that cannot be reduced, making it impossible to read the text.

Try downloading and using the Puffin web browser. I had to cut-and-paste the specific url for each book, but now I get a normal view rather than the locked zoom view.
Hi CMysinNormal
Puffin's ok but relies on Flash which we are now being told is insecure.
Many others are raising this on other threads (see: Re: Google books not being displayed properly after ios 9 upgrade) yet no response or action form Apple - extraordinary treatment of loyal customers, isn't it?
A solution: go into Settings>Safari>Advanced and turn off Javascript. This gives you the whole page were 'preview' is available in Google Books. The view is much simplified, with no zoom or magnify buttons showing, and searching for a word will only find the first entry, so not terribly helpful in that regard. But at least you can read whole pages!
This worked for me. Thanks.
Thank you to say thank you !
