Q: Can't stop iPad from ringing since update to ios9

Since updating to ios9 on my iPad I can't stop it from ringing when there is an incoming call on my iPhone even though "Calls from iPhone" is disabled. This is driving me nuts because the only way to stop the iPad from ringing is by shutting it down.

And FWIW there isn't any option on my iPhone under Settings - Facetime for "iPhone cellular calls", so it isn't possible to disable this on my iPhone. Is there any solution to this problem?

This setting is under the "Phone" (Settings > Phone). Second from the top if I remember correctly.

On your iPhone go to Settings>Phone>Calls on Other Devices>Allow Calls on Other Devices>Off.
On the iPad go to Settings>FaceTime>Calls from iPhone>Off.

Thanks for the responses, guys. But this seems counterintuitive. Why doesn't the setting on the iPad suffice?
