Oct 1, 2015 6:47 PM in response to akt1012by ArtPHX,I just updated iPad Air 2 to IOS 9.0.2 and same problem with Apple TV Airplay stops. Then on a lark while video was playing in Safari I did the 5 finger pinch - go to home screen, then I closed the protective case which puts iPad to sleep and the video continued to play on Apple TV. I didn't do a lot of testing but I tried it several times and it works.

Oct 1, 2015 9:17 PM in response to ArtPHXby akt1012,Thanks for your reply. I have one of those heavy-duty iPad case which doesn't have one of those covers which puts iPad to sleep. I'll buy one and see if it makes the difference. However, I tried it from Google Chrome and the video continued to play when my iPhone went to sleep. I have only tested this once, will do further testing and keep you posted.
