Q: iOS crahed my iphone 5s

After update to ios9 my iphone 5s is stuck on "slide to upgrade".

I have tried reboot but results in same

I tried backing up but it sticks on Step 4 "Waiting for changes to be applied"

Help please anyone, as i dont want to lose my latest photos

I have exactly the same problem.
I tried the steps in If the Slide to Upgrade screen won't go away after you update to iOS 9 - Apple Support, but the "back up now" button in my itunes just does not work, say it cannot back up because my iphone is not set up yet. Help!

Thanks for that but I cant back it up, as i said its sticking on step 4 of the backup, "Waiting for changes to be applied"
Just need a way to get my photos off before i try a restore (i have an older backup)
