Sep 23, 2015 8:15 AM in response to littlevic76by stevejobsfan0123,See If the Slide to Upgrade screen won't go away after you update to iOS 9 - Apple Support.
If that does not work, see If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support (this will also help you get around the "Find my iPad" prompt; you'll still need to deal with it after the restore).

Sep 23, 2015 9:21 AM in response to stevejobsfan0123by veronica208,hello, new to this. I upgraded my ipad (3) to iOS9 yesterday. since then its frozen on 'slide to upgrade'. I've found lots of suggestions online, inc apples, but none work. have done many forced restarts, but to no avail. My problem is I have never synced my ipad to a PC or is it to itunes?I'm not sure..
so now when i connect it to itunes it then prompts me to allow access respond on your ipad, which i cant do as it is frozen.
Any help would be gratefully accepted.
