Q: No seconds display on digital watch faces

Can I really be the only person who wants to see a seconds display on the Apple Watch when I'm using one of the digital displays.  I was amazed, and frustrated, to search all of the customisations and find no option for this feature.  A glaring omission.

    Hi Michael

You can submit suggested new features to Apple here:

I really would like to see a seconds display on the digital displays as well. I have used the feedback link suggested above twice already - once in May and again after I installed watchOS 2. So far there has been no solution.

I have been using Apple products since 1990 and the company does have a bit of a tendency for a somewhat arrogant "Mother knows best" attitude. Maybe displaying digital seconds offends the aesthetic of some design team members...

At any rate I am usually very happy with Apple's products, and otherwise I am happy with the watch as well, aside from this problem. It just so happens that my work requires awareness of seconds at any time, so I only have the option of using the analog watch faces.

I really hope Apple programs in the option for digital seconds in the next update/upgrade of the watchOS!
