Switching Iphone from verizon to metro pcs

so i am looking to buy an iphone 6 plus from verizon that my friend is selling am i able to get it switched to metro pcs

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.0.1

Only if Verizon is able and willing to unlock the phone, and only if Metro PCS supports iPhone 6. Ask Verizon and Metro.

As all Verizon iPhones are unlocked, any issues would be on the Metro PCS. What did they say when you asked them?
