I'm using outlook as my email client and OS Yosemite and cannot email a pdf from preview - email is not an option under the share icon on the preview toolbar, only message or airdrop. Can anyone help

See here, If sharing options and Markup are missing after you install OS X Yosemite - Apple Support, but I don't think Microsoft has put any effort into supporting the sharing options.

Yeah, I didn't think it would help as it is Microsoft that needs to provide the integration with their software. The likelihood of that is slim to none and Slim left town.
