After upgrading my ipad2 to IOS 9.0.0 , Game Centre runs very slow and inconsistent. The 9.0.1 patch made no difference.
Sometime it requires a new log in to Game Centre using my apple id. Some of these log-ins then freezes. Rebooting the device solves the problem.
The frustrating bit is the sluggish performance. Wait times are excessive = minutes.
No other apps are affected.
Anyone else having the same issue? Any solutions?

Hi! If the restart helps, a reset may solve your problem.
Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings
iPad Air here. Same problem. Hard reset, and resetting all settings does not solve the problem. A full restore does not solve the problem. Many complaints about the same issue puts the problem with the IOS update.

I have an iPad mini 2, and it takes sometimes several minutes ( ! ) until game center responds. also certain games freeze for an irregular duration of up to 20 seconds when the game center welcome notification is about to come. this did also happend during an online race.. very annoying. iPad has been rebooted, reset, restored, updated, nothing helped.
