HI, i have over 13000 photos on my phone
i had to stop using the 5gb icloud free a long time ago as it ran out if space
my phone memory is full
i wanted a way to keep photos but optimise my phone so i could either delete them from my phone and just access online and download/view as needed
i have upgraded to 500gb which is plenty.
last night i turned it all on (i think)
but photos are not uploaded still this morning despite being in wifi and phone plugged in. As not enough memory us being used up and it still sats updating photo library.
IT said low memory so i assumed thus is my phone and could prevent uploading so made 400mg space on phone.
under icloud photo lib says only 300 odd photos uploaded at present!
HOw long will this take? Its been 5 hours.? Shouldnt it be done now - theres no progress bar etc.
how will i know its backed up all 13000 photos?
how do i access the high res photos as phone is set to optimise
can i download photos one at a time if i want high res version - where from
i thought once i was using icloud i could delete many if the pics from my phone to save space. Is this correct? Im seeing comments about if you delete of phone it deletes from icloud - i basically want an online storage facility - can you advise?
