Q: updated my ipad to ios9 and now it is frozen on a white screen

I updated all of my devices to ios 9. Successful on everything else except my ipad. Now all I have is a white screen. I can't even turn off the ipad. Please advise.

Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
Press and hold on the Home button
Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

If this does not help, restore your device to factory settings. Note that this will erase the data from your device.

I tried the advice above. It partially worked. Now my ipad is frozen on a white screen and it says slide to upgrade but it won't let me slide to continue. Cannot get to any screen to go to settings to reset

I appreciate the suggestions but I still experiencing the same problems even when I am plugged into itunes. I can't get to the settings screen because it freezes on a white screen after a the first 2 steps.

It needs me to enter the passcode on the ipad to upgrade but it freezes on the white screen before I can enter it again.
