Active Directory Password and Keychain

Hi Group,

We need some insight/help with a problem that's been going on for sometime now here within our domain and I myself am sincerely FED UP with this. Every time one of our users receives a little AD password expiration pop-up at login, and changes their password right then and there, Keychain gets all screwy. And sometime, even though we know for sure what the password is, it doesn't work. The two just don't seem to get along.

So we're wondering if anyone else is having this same problem within their domain, and how or what are you doing to remedy this?

iMac with Retina 5K display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

We were experiencing the same thing with some of our macs once the login password had to be changed via AD. Sometimes the keychain would grab the new password and other times it would keep the old one, it wasnt very consistent.

Might want to try to have your users that are having this issue follow the link below to reset the password for the keychain to their current AD password.
