Q: deny access from laptop

Hi all,

I'm trying to charge my iPhone via a public computer. Therefore I would like to deny access to my pictures and video's (or any access for that matter) on my iPhone. On the laptop I have selected the option to take no action when the iPhone is connected.

However the phone keeps vibrating and asking for permission.

What can I do, except allowing access...?

    Hi Youri,

If you're plugging in to a public computer and you don't want to trust the computer, and only charge your iPhone, then all you need to do is tap on "Don't Trust."

If you choose not to trust the connected computer, you can charge your device, but the connected computer won't be able to access any content on your device.

If you tap Trust, the computer will be trusted until you untrust all computers or you erase the device. If you tap Don't Trust, you'll see this alert each time you connect your device to that computer.

'Trust This Computer' alert on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

    Take care.
