how do i share some of my itunes with my son but not all of it?

my son now has an iphone 5. i want to share SOME of my music library but not all of it 🙂 Family sharing seems to say he would still have access to all of it. is it possible to limit what songs he can have on his device? or can i set up an itunes account for him and somehow still share my purchases with him at my discretion?

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.0.1

Family sharing is for people with different accounts. If he is using your account then he has access to everything you do. I do not use Family Sharing but I recall reading there are ways to restrict access to items. I would say if he is old enough to have his own phone he also needs his own AppleID.
