Q: Cannot sync iCloud notes between iPhone and iPad in iOS 9

I have a iPhone 5s and iPad Air.  Both are in iOS 9.0.1 and both have Notes upgraded.

The notes (with my iCloud account) in the iPhone 5s are not sync-ed with the iPad anymore after the upgrade.

The iPad default iCloud account but with my wife's account.  I added my iCloud account in Mail Setting.

In the page,

Upgrade your notes with iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

It mentions:

If you’re signed in to more than one iCloud Mail account on your iOS device or Mac and have notes syncing turned on, you can only use the new Notes features with your primary iCloud account. You can see your primary account in Settings > iCloud, or System Preferences > iCloud.

Will this limitation be fix?  It was very helpful in iOS 8 that 2 people can share notes with different 2 default iCloud accounts.  But it seems it is not possible anymore in iOS 9.

If there is any workaround or setup change I need, please advise.

I have this smae issue. No sure when or if  will every fix it. Been dealing with little issues like this since iOS7. Wife and I had everything sharing and syncing and updating, it was great. Now since some find my friends issues that started with iOS7, she now has her own iCloud acct, which we have gotten use to. But now with iOS9 we can't sync notes at all the way we use too thru iCloud. Now I have had to move them to Gmail for now, which in an all apple household is frustrating. I have tried all sorts of syncing, turning on then off, etc... No luck, the notes only sync immediately after the acct is added*, but never sync again. the contacts and calendars sync but not the notes, neither the "new" notes or even just basic notes. As stated earlier I had to go back to Gmail for only notes now... Hoping Apple fixes this issue and allowed better sharing. Family Sharing is joke for anything except "purchase" sharing.

*Acct added: adding my iCloud acct to her "Mail, contacts and calendars" section of settings as a mail account syncing notes, contacts and calendars.

Have you tried reaching out to Apple Support or going into an Apple store to meet with the Genius bar to try and resolve this ongoing issue?

Yes. Local genius bar is totally stumped. It seems to be a limitation on how Apple has iCloud notes syncing from a secondary account that is now broken or been eliminated. My "primary" icloud account in "iCloud settings" syncs perfect with all my devices, just not to my wifes iPhone, and the only difference is that it's not the primary iCloud acct.
