Q: dead iPhone 5s after upgrading to iOS9

I just upgrade my iPhone 5s to iOS9 and now it's dead. I did it with 90% of battery charge and the only thing that my iPhone does now, is vibrate every 3 seconds when is plugged in. Always with black screen, no signal of booting or the charging battery.

The authorized retailer in Chile (Mac Online) doesn't receive it because doesn't have guarantee anymore (more than one year)

I really need a solution.

Thanks.

    Hello kacozg,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

From your post I understand that the screen of your iPhone is appearing black, but you are able to tell that it's on since it vibrates.  To troubleshoot this issue I suggest that you go through the steps in the link below.

If you see a solid color screen (black, white, or blue)

    1. Plug in your device to a power source. If you see the low-battery screen when you plug in, let your device charge for at least 10 minutes (20 minutes for iPad) before using it.
    2. Force restart your device while it's plugged in.
    3. If this doesn't work, restore your device.
    4. If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.

    Have a great weekend.

I have a similar problem. My 5s stays on an app and I maneuver throughout the app but I cant close it or get to the homescreen. So when I hit the power button(because my home button is broken) it goes black but I have to constantly press it to get lucky on turning it back on. I dont think my power button is the problem though because when my iPhone does work my power button is fine. It's only when it get stuck on an app. I found a solution when I get lucky on turning it on which is let it stay on until the battery dies then reboot it. But this happened multiple times already and sometimes I am not on an app that uses that much battery and to add this also happened to my mothers iPhone 5s. Im looking for a permanent solution that I can't get out of apps.

To add to this, I know my phone is on because if someone calls or I plug it in my phone vibrates.
