Unencrypted to Encrypted Transfer possible?
I have an unencrypted time machine backup drive that I want to transfer to a time-machine encrypted volume. Is this possible?
Or if I can just encrypt the unencrypted volume, I'd be ok with that, too.
You can encrypt the volume, but it won't be bootable into Recovery. For that you would have to erase it and start over.
