Since I updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 9, the calendar on my lock screen will only show my next upcoming event. It doesn't show the full day like it used to. When I unlock my phone and open the calendar app, all my events are still there. It seemed like a software glitch, and I hoped updating to 9.0.1 today would fix it, but it hasn't. Is there a setting I can change to fix this?

Did you try scrolling the calendar down? It will not show events that have already passed, just the future events.
Yep, I tried scrolling. The rest of the upcoming events just aren't showing up at all. Only the thing I am currently doing or the soonest upcoming event.
Have you gone into Settings>Notifications>Calendar>Upcoming events and make sure that is turned on for Show on Lock Screen? What troubleshooting have you tried? I'm just guessing since you do not mention it, are you referring to swiping downwards on the Notification screen to see this information?
Yeah, I did confirm that Notifications were on, though it's not really a notification issue. Yes, this is on the lock screen when I pull down to see what's going on Today. It shows only what's coming up next. I've tried:
If you swipe down Notifications and then scroll to the bottom there and tap on edit, do you see Today Summary and Calendar and Tomorrow Summary all listed in what shows under Today?
Yep, that's all there, but still same problem. I had not noticed that edit button before though (only shows up once you've unlocked your phone), so thanks for pointing that out! That will be helpful in the future for sure.

It's becoming a pain now because I have to check my phone before each lecture...
It's so annoying whne you're trying to schedule something and you have to go to the calendar to check all events of today...
I have ensured every possible setup is on, removed some other items from Today's Summary and see if it's caused by not enough space - not helping...
It'd be good if this can be identified or solved...

I had started to think I was the only person having this issue. Sorry you're having the same problem, but glad to know it's not just me! I've played with every setting I can find, but no luck. Hopefully Apple will get on this soon.
I am having the same issue.
Same problem here on an iPhone SE running latest iOS. Only see whatever the next event is in Notifications. Seriously annoying!!
Just to note having this problem, and worse, on iPad both air and mini several months later. Calendar alerts not really useable as far as I can see on any Apple device
