I can't access email after 9.0.1 update on 5 devices

I have 2 iPad 2's, 1 iPad 4th Gen, 2 iPhone 5C and 1 iPhone 5S. I updated all of them today after the 9.0.1 announcement was made.

I no longer have access to any of my iMap email accounts on any of the devices (all were fine last night).

I've verified all of the account settings from an older iPhone 4S that I did not update - 1 hour

I've verified that I can communicate with mail server from each of the devices - 1 hour

I've hard-booted the devices (1 hour) - no success

I've deleted and recreated the various accounts (3 hours) - no success

I've reset the Network Settings and rechecked the account settings (3 hours) - no success

So, after wasting an entire day, I have 5 devices that can't access the same email server that they were accessing with no issues the day before.

This is not only impacting my personal time, but it is also affecting our ability to operate our business.

What is Apple doing to sort this?

iPad, iOS 9.0.1
