Q: I can't find the keychain first aid

My computer is OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5 and I have read so many ways to reset my keychain password and a lot of them say to click on key chain first aid but I don't have that on my computer when I open up Keychain Access.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

I use last pass to copy some for most situations but it hasn't been keeping up with some of them since El Capitan. I have a lot of accounts that I can't remember off hand too. It's just easier to create new passwords as they come up instead of one huge restart atm.

Thanks of that info - it's helpful to know.

Any ideas on what the heck to do to fix a keychain, now that First Aid has been removed?

Why was it removed! I have the latest build and having login issues.

Yet Apple decided in its infinite wisdom to remove the first aid from Keychain.

This is paramount to my collection of Apple device sharing login.

by removing the Keychain it means I lose ALL my login info and have to start afresh

I tried the First Aid in disk utilities and no change at all

This is now making me think twice on upgrading to the latest Mac Book Pro i7

The feature is built into the app to self repair. You still have Keychain Access.app.

Are you syncing your data via iCloud Keychain? If yes, are your other devices experiencing the same login issues?

Have you tried switching from a password to your iCloud ID for login in System Preferences > Users & Groups?

Please describe in detail your login issues.

Verify you are fully updated to 10.11.5.

You should be able to get by as sberman says.  Bear in mind once you migrate to el capon, el Capitan the Keychain First Aid goes away, officially.
