Q: iPhone 6s set-up

MY husbands new iPhone6 seems to be hanging as part of its set-up. He has an Apple on the screen and the progress bar shows around 10 per cent progression and stops. The phone is quite warm to touch.

You might have to connect in recovery mode and reset the phone back to factory settings, check this article:

Did all that and it re-installs the iOS9 and then eventually goes back to the same screen ... which is the Apple with a progress bar of 10 per cent.

If the phone has been connected in recovery mode to iTunes on your Mac, and you did not choose to use the backup after the new firmware has been installed, you'll have to get the phone serviced by Apple.

Did you choose the option to download only and install later? This will download the firmware first and when this is done, the iOS will be installed in a second step.
