I hope so too but more likely, as new phones are added to the line, new features will always come with them. iPhones and iPads use different chips and are able to do different things - the iOS may be called the same (9.0.1 now) but the actual install on an iPhone is different that what gets installed on an iPad, for instance no Apple Watch App gets installed on an iPad for obvious reasons, it does not work with iPads.

Hope this helps... 🙂

I agree on the processor but iPads can do different things than iPhones and vice versa, this has always been the case. At any rate, your original question was: I cant seem to use the I phone 6 keyboard as a track-pad. and the answer is because the iPhone 6 does not have that capability. If you wish you can leave feedback to Apple here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/ They do read ALL messages...

Cheers,

Thank you very much for your responses, yes my initial query was whether the i phone 6 keyboard was able to be used as a keypad and now I know that it isn't. However I disagree with your statement "and the answer is because the iPhone 6 does not have that capability" I'm sure that its a software tweak that apple needs to implement in the the later updates of IOS 9.

Cheers,

🙂
