Q: Windows 10 on rMPB 13" 2015

Hi, I cannot download the Windows Software Support to the USB through Bootcamp Assistant. I get the same error as here

Bootcamp Assistant: Downloading Windows support software... STUCK.

The Windows support software could not be saved to the selected drive.

An error occurred while saving the Windows support software.

And in the console this error:

I have tried restarting and reformatting the USB, but I can't make it past this step.

Before you acknowledge the error message, can you start Disk Utility and check if there is a DMG file called WindowsSupport.dmg in the list n the left pane?

If you BCA with just option 2, does it properly download drivers. Please ensure your USB flash drive is a USB2 disk.

No, I can't only download the Windows Support Software. It is a USB 3 stick, however the same thing happens with a USB2 stick, exactly the same error...

1. Check if you meet Requirements for Software Update Service - Apple Support .
2. You may also want to try https://github.com/timsutton/brigadier as a test.
