How can you disable the ios update notification?

User uploaded file

This unbelievably annoying new notification is really getting me down. I am aware of the update, and I do not wish to be reminded of it later. I also definitely do not want it to auto-install, especially as I am often doing work between 1 and 5 AM.

I can find no way to disable this notification. Any help?

I'll repeat what Perth said, "The update notification will go away once you update." This is not a "childish" response. There are almost no reasons not to update your device to the latest version on the iOS. I've updated two iPhones and an iPad multiple times and all three are presently running iOS 9.1. I've experienced no problems with any updates. To be safe, be sure to back up your device before updating. Saying that, I've never needed the backups I've made but, again, just in case, I do back up my devices regularly.

Awww were your feelings hurt? Let's be clear here, you are not helping the discussion. PixelLife is stating that this notification is annoying. I agree with them. Whether you agree or not is not relevant. PixelLife is looking for a solution to stop this notification WITHOUT updating. And there are tons of reason not to update not the least of which is having an older iOS device. And taken a step further, this has NEVER been an iOS feature. It's annoying.
