YouTube app on the new Apple TV have a watch later playlist?

Does anyone know if the new Apple TV's youTube app has a watch later playlist? That is one of the features I use most, and I've learned that not all of the youTube apps created for different platforms have this as an option.

Thank you.

Sorry but that’s incorrect. The current Apple TV (3rd generation) does indeed have a YouTube app, a brand new one as a matter of fact. The app also has the “Watch Later” playlist but you have to set that up using a browser on your computer.

The 1st and 2nd generation Apple TVs no longer have the YouTube app because Google chose not support the older APIs of those machines.

I assume that setting it up via a browser is a one time deal? Once its working, can I easily remove videos from the "Watch Later" playlist? Would it be too much trouble to post some screenshots? I know it sounds weird, but I'm basing my decision to buy the new Apple TV based on how well this playlist is supported and how easy to use it is.....since that is the MAIN way I use youtube to watch videos.

Thank you!!

You sign in to the YouTube app on the Apple TV with the same user id and password as your browser based YouTube account. The app mirrors your account. If you have created a Watch Later playlist on YouTube it will show up on the Apple TV. You cannot make changes to that playlist on the Apple TV. It simply mirrors what your account is.

As BooMonster says though, we know nothing about the YouTube app that will be on the new 4th generation Apple TV. When it comes out go to a store that has it and take a look before you buy.
