Microphone Not Working On Line-In Port

Hi Im Trying To Get My Soonhua Mic I Just Got http://www.amazon.com/Professional-Condenser-Microphone-Laptop-Recording/dp/B00K 68MT9Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&… And I Dont Hear Any Audio Through The Mic And I Pluged My Headphones In The Headphone Port. One Thing I Noticed On Amazon Is That The Mic Had To Have A Amplified Port And I Dont Think I Have That On My Mac Mini. The Voltage Has To Be 1.5V idk Can Someone Help Me Because I Need It To Do Youtube Videos. I Used My Old Wireless Mic That Had A Base That Was Alredy Amplified That Worked. If You Could Help Thanks. 🙂

The line-in audio jack requires an amplified input.

The headphone jack includes a mono mic input for using headphones with built-in mic/remote. See:

You can also an adopter cable

that allow you to use a mic/headphone set that has separate headphone and mic 3.5 mm plugs.

I would get a USB mic
