How do I submit a user tip?

You cannot create your own user tips within ASC until you reach level 5 at 4,000 points. See Levels and Perks in the Tutorials area as the link posted earlier is now broken. If you'd like someone else to repost your content as a user tip then I'm sure that would be possible. IdrisSeabright, myself or one of the other higher level users could do it, and you could then use the existing thread at Update of the Podcasts App Tips Sheet to request updates to it until such time as you can edit it yourself. You'd then be in a position to post links to the tip, which can be updated over time, rather than posting boilerplate that runs the risk of becoming outdated.

Barney, due to the number of repetitious questions and confusion over the new Station/Show/Episode methodology of the iOS 11 Podcasts App, I wrote a Tips Sheet to include with answers I provided and have updated it as new issues came up. As a Level 2 I cannot submit it as a User Tip, but someone at a higher level should consider posting it there. Many have thanked me for the information. It is a Word docx I simply paste to message windows. Then periodically, I post it to a separate message thread such as Update of the Podcasts App Tips Sheet

Send me an email or upload link, if you feel it should become a User Tip.

You have to reach a certain level before you can submit a tip.

Award points, level up, and earn new privileges

Post it here and I or another user will convert it to a tip (and give you credit).

For less tech savvy users, perhaps you could provide more details on how to do this. I'll add it if you want to update the tip.

Most users are NOT techies. That's why Apple has been so 'user friendly' historically.

Spell it out for the 'greatest common denominator' - which translates to 'lowest level of learning', generally ( as you can probably tell from browsing around here)
