FCP7 End of Life
Has there been any information about when FCP7 will reach end of life? Will it work at all in El Capitan? The last few times I've used it in Yosemite, it's been buggy.
FCP 7 was end of lifed 4 years ago. Maverick's didn't support it....Yosemite didn't support it. And how it performed under those OS versions worsened with each release. Apple isn't supporting FCP 7...so expect even worse performance under El Capitan.
Two choices:
1) Run FCP 7 on an older computer with an older OS version, on that it's supported under, or one where it works to your satisfaction.
2) Switch to a different editing application that's supported under the OS you want to run.
