I just installed Motion 5.2.2 on my (mid-2012 Mac Pro tower, 16 gigs Ram, OS X Yosemite 10.10.5) and cannot publish a title template to latest FCPX while in my user profile - it works in a secondary user profile on my Mac. What can I do to fix it for my profile? Thanks!

What exactly happens? Be specific. Do you save the template but it does not appear in FCP X? Do you get an error when saving?
Hi Luis, when I try to save a title template the "publish" button in the save template dialogue box is greyed out. I can enter a name for the template but it won't offer me any categories. When I try to enter a new category I get an error sound and the publish button remains greyed out. I simply can't press Publish. Again, it works perfectly in a Guest User profile on my computer but I need to it work in my profile. Does anything come to mind?? Thanks!
It looks like either you don't have the right folder structure or maybe a permissions problem.
In the Finder, open the Movies folder inside your home folder.
Do you see a "Motion Templates" folder in there?
If you do, select it and press Command-I to open the "Get Info" window.
Post a screenshot of that.
Thanks, that's a good idea, here's the screenshot. I've recently installed some LUT's from Color Grading Central in this folder so maybe that has something to do with it...

Hi Luis - problem solved! I didn't have permission. I guess when I installed the LUTs it rearranged my permissions....Thanks!
