How do I stop sharing call history between two iPhones (one mac)

My husband and I both have iOS 9.01.

Now I notice that if I have a missed / answer call it shows up on his notice screen and all my calls show up in his recent call history .

Both phones don't ring and they don't need to be near each other or connected by Wi-Fi. We do share an Icloud account a few good years...

We have mac too with yosimta systam.. ( its possible that the mac make this bug? i thing/not for sure its beign when i conncted the mac to our icloud)

the option calls on other devices is off...

So How do I stop sharing call history between the two phones? with the same icloud!(i dont want another apple id)

(the icloud work fine until ios 9)

I have one Apple ID and use it on 5 devices: 2 iPhones, 2 iPads and one iMac. It would be certainly painful to maintain 5 separate AppleIDs simply because there are some items i do not wish to synch between devices, yet other items that I do wish to synch. I cannot control this, so everything is shared. Until apple resolves this I guess I am in the same boat as everyone else (one solution fits all, right?) I just have to keep in mind that some of the incoming calls I am being alerted about are from my secondary phone, or some from my primary phone will show up on the secondary phone. What is weird is that, even though I made the call, outgoing, from my primary phone, it showed up on my secondary phone in red as if it was a missed incoming call. This led me to believe someone had contacted me and no little embarrassment when I called them "back".

I was able to solve this quite simply. Go to 'settings', 'phone' and turn off 'calls on other devices'.

Go to iMessage and turn off 'text message forwarding' and turn off (uncheck) the phone number whose messages you don't want to see in 'Send & Receive'. Also within 'Send & Receive' at the bottom check the right phone number for 'Start New Conversations From'.

This fixed it for us - we kept the same apple ID, ICloud Drive on and were able to continue synching our contacts, emails and calendars. But now we don't share the same call history or call conversations.

You may find that you have to turn the phones on and off for the settings to take effect before testing it
