Can I download an update from IOS 10.8.5 to 10.8.6

NYTimes recently said you need a MacBook Pro manufactured I think in 2009 or later and ios version 10.8.6. I have 10.8.5 and couldn't find a download at the Apple Store. Is there one available or was I just not searching correctly? Help!

There is no Mac OS X 10.8.6. The next step from 10.8.5 is Yosemite.

Back up your data,check your applications for compatibility, and download Yosemite from the Mac App Store.
