Sep 26, 2015 3:08 PM in response to Nave UKby Techana,Yes, I'm having problems with that as well. I can only send from my Macbook Pro RT (late 2012 running 10.10.5)) to my iPhone 5 (iOS 9.0.1). Sending from iPhone to the Macbook does not work. iPhone does not see the computer.

Sep 29, 2015 8:45 PM in response to Nave UKby elcpu,How far are you from the other users? My AirDrop works fine with iOS 9 but I have to be within close range and it is not consistent.
You could try a forced restart to see if it helps. Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it comes up. You will not lose anything.

Sep 29, 2015 8:42 PM in response to Nave UKby leroydouglas,I find Airdrop very inconsistent in its behavior, working then not working for no known reason. YMMV

Oct 3, 2015 4:09 PM in response to Nave UKby Snoop Dogg,For people having AirDrop troubles after updating to iOS 9, one thing to check is if you have a Me card in the Contacts app that contains your email address or phone number.
If you don’t, try creating a Me card for yourself that includes your iCloud email address and/or iPhone phone number, then turn off the iOS 9 device and turn it back on, and see if that helps.

Oct 24, 2015 9:08 PM in response to Nave UKby myjovian,I've been chatting with the Senior Advisors for hours yesterday and today. We've been trying everything to solve this problem of mine. My Airdrop of my MBA cannot be searched by other iOS devices. However, other iOS devices are doing the jobs just fine. Therefore, we know something is wrong with the MBA 2013.
We've tried resetting NVRAM, SMC, wireless network, reinstall the OS X, change a different router, setting up a test account, and other things too.
However, none of above worked for me.
At the end, he asked me what kind of third party apps I have, and i gave him a list of the app i have. (I was really hopeless at that time and thought that it was not the problem for sure, however, we have already tried everything, why not one more)
Out of so many apps, he asked me to delete "Dr Cleaner, Memory Clean, and the unarchiver", I did not want to troubleshoot anymore, so i just deleted those and restarted the MBA.
You know what!? IT WORKS! WOW!!
Hope this helps other people like me having trouble with the AirDrop.
Good Luck!
