understand that my dilemma isn't picture quality. and if you read my original post, you would understand that my colors have held up remarkably well all the way up to the burning process. there has not been any color shifting through the compression process. when the file is previewed in idvd, it looks great. it's only when it is outputted to dvd that it looks green.

if you read my original post

...easy buddy, I'm trying to help you here. I've read ALL your posts, but you still haven't told me more about the actual format sent to iDVD - saying simply 'uncompressed video' doesn't really tell me much.

I've been helping on this form for several years and the only time I can remember problem symptoms like yours, a cable between a DVD player and TV set was disconnected. That's why I asked if the disc played OK in your computer and you said it did, eliminating that possibility.

when the file is previewed in idvd, it looks great

Preview only plays the raw input files. It appears that QuickTime will play your file fine, but the MPG-2 encoding process doesn't like your file.

This happens and sometimes files won't encode - again - I've not heard of GREEN problems.
