Q: Restore in Progress Disconnection Issue

I recently got my iPhone 6 because my recent ones touchscreen wasn't working, so Apple gave me a new one. The problem that i have is, is that when i wanted to restore the backup of the old iPhone 6 to the new one, iTunes will give me a message that the process was interrupted because the device disconnected during the restore in progress. However, the thing is, I've never disconnected it... any suggestions on what the problem may be?

    Howdy Pokabyss,

I understand that you're unable to get your new iPhone 6 to successfully restore from the backup of your old iPhone 6 due to iTunes stating that your device has been disconnected. This may be due to an issue with a number of things, from a cable issue, an issue with software or the USB ports on your computer, or possibly even the new iPhone.

Fortunately we've an article (linked below) that details a number of steps which can help isolate the cause of the disconnection and stabilize the connection between your iPhone and iTunes via your computer.
