move imovie 8.0.6 library to external hard disk

I have several imovie 8.0.6 libraries but I would like to combine them on a new terabyte external hard drive. Is the procedure for moving these the same as iMovie 2013/2014?

iMovie '11, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

AppleMan 1958 put together some information for this for version 8 ( aka iMovie '09 ) and version 9 (aka iMovie '11).

How can i move or copy projects and events to an external drive? (Version 9 and earlier)
