Q: I bought a book named 'Speak like a CEO' two weeks back for Rupees 920. Yesterday my iPad got some issues and I completely restored from an old backup. I restored this book separately as this was not backed up. Amount got deducted again. Please advise

I bought a book named 'Speak like a CEO' two weeks back for Indian Rupees 920. Since I had an issue in my IPad2 (was using the latest version iOS 9.0.1)

I had to restore/reset the whole of the contents from an old backup and I could not see this book, obviously because this was not there in the backup.  Hence I accessed Appstore again and downloaded the book. As in the original purchase, the book just revealed the first chapter and rest was to be bought.  I clicked on the 'Buy' button and selected the option 'restore' (which I assumed would not have any impact to my existing purchase).  However, the amount of INR 920 got deducted  for the second time.  How do I get refund of the same? Please advise.

    These forums are user-to-user. Apple is not here. If you have a dispute you must use the built-in process. Open iBooks and select the iBooks Store. On the right side of the window, under Quick Links, select Account and login to your account. Select Purchase History and find the purchase in dispute. Now select Report a Problem and tell your story. You will hear back from Apple in a day or two.

     

    And by the way, this forum is for discussing the Apple Pay system for making payments using your iPhone, NOT for disputing purchases.
