iOS 9.0.1 iMessage/FaceTime not working

Hey all,

I got a 6s today after having an iPhone 5 since 2012. I absolutely love the phone, but I'm having issues with my FaceTime/iMessage activation. It's actually quite infuriating and I'm about to pull my hair out. 😠

iMessage and FaceTime refuse to activate, despite resetting every setting possible (Network, all settings). I've also tried erasing all content/settings several times over to no avail. In addition, I have tried every method listed here.

When I tap "Use Apple ID for iMessage" in Settings -> iMessage and the Apple ID pop-up comes on screen, I enter my information (I've double checked it was correct), and the Apple ID sign-in window is greyed out and I cannot exit from it without closing the settings app.

Something similar happens with FaceTime. When I open FaceTime and try to login, it just shows the spinning wheel indefinitely and never actually logs in. When I try to login via Settings -> Facetime, the same thing happens that did with iMessage.

Before you ask, yes, the date and time settings are correct, my wireless connection is reliable and it connects to it just fine, my phone number has a check next to it in Settings -> iMessage -> Send & Recieve, and the phone is activated. I can make phone calls and have bars/LTE.

If someone could help me fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
