I have an iPhone 6 with iOS 9 and cannot change the auto-lock time from 30 seconds, as the tab s grayed out. It is very annoying, any ideas?

HI, I also had this problem....go into General>Battery turn off low power mode & it'll let you set the auto lock to whatever you want

Do you have a company MS Exchange account on your iPhone? If so the administrator can set security parameters such as auto-lock, backup encryption, Siri access from the lock screen, etc. They can also remote wipe your phone if it is stolen or if you leave the company.
I have none of that, it is my personal iPhone.
Then I don't know what is causing it. Go to Settings/General, scroll to the bottom. Are there any Profiles? (If there is no entry for Profiles then there aren't any.) If there are any profiles delete any that are related to Security. Reboot after deleting.
If that fails go to settings/General/Reset - Reset all settings. This will change settings back to their defaults, but will not result in any data loss.
Just a couple days ago I reset all content and data. i have no profiles. I will only reset the settings if nothing else fixes it.
