Q: iphone 6s call forwarding not working

As per the title.  Attempted setup from backup and as a whole new device.  Reset, hard reset and full factory reset did nothing.  Multiple SIM cards were essayed to no effect.  Multiple PHONES were tried, with the exact same problem.  Went through all level tech support both with the carrier (Bell Canada) and Apple.  The latter took the relevant diagnostic data and submitted it to engineering.

 

I offer this information for anyone else suffering the same issue.

    Thanks for your reply.

     

    It took me quite awhile to find the time and courage to wipe my phone. I did so, following your instructions, including removing the device from iCloud, starting anew with no iCloud ID associated to the phone and I still cannot use call forwarding. I guess I now need to go back to AT&T again. Any ideas on how to bypass standard tech support and repeating the whole saga but instead getting someone from the AT&T engineering department to take a look?

    HI,

     

    Im facing the same issue with my iphone 6 (ios 9.3).I took it to ATT Store also they couldnt fix it.

     

    Have you find out whats causing the problem ?

    Did you request a new SIM from AT&T?
