Animated wallpaper is not working, I just bought the iphone 6s plus yesterday and updated it to ios 9.0.1, but still the animated live wallpaper is not working! can anyone tell me whats going on or what settings did I missed? and please dont tell me to restore to factory settings since I have tried that several times already.

Hi, I just bought an iPhone 6s and realized the live wallpaper is not live, power saver mode is off, and I changed from a static wallpaper to a live one too to see what happens, it doesn't animate even on the settings when it asks to press on the screen to watch it animate! Disappointed!
Actually the animated wallpapers are not "animated" by themselves, you have to push a bit with 3D touch to see them moving...

Oh... Does 3D touch works well for everything else? I mean when you want to see camera options on the springboard for example?
Did you use the "live" wallpapers with ink and fishes? Did you keep the screen pushed for a while?
It only works on the look screen, not on the home screen. Did you know that?

Well, that was quick! My reply got deleted. Anyway, I've read from the other forum that it is only work on their demo in their Apple stores.
Well it works on my iPhone, so I can tell it is not only for Apple stores...
Hi, are you sure Low Power mode is off?
Try toggling it off by going to settings, battery and tapping low power mode.
"Dynamic Wallpaper and Perspective Zoom are switched off when Low Power Mode is on."
TThis happened to me too. I changed the wallpaper to a regular one, and then I went back and changed it to a live one again and it started working. I hope this helps. It must be some software glitch. Also, mine does work in low power mode as well
I Went to Apple Store yesterday and was told that those moving fish are only for demo purpose that they put up to show the animated wallpaper. So it was just a video. Your animated wallpaper should only works 3 seconds on a light touch then reset back. Same thing with Live Photos.

So is the wallpaper supposed to animate automatically or do you have to press on lock screen for it to animate??? I've tried many things. Switching, making sure low battery is off etc.
I tried this and it didn't work, so I switched 3D touch off and then changed my wallpaper back to a still. Then I restarted my phone, then selected a live wallpaper. Subsequent to this I switched 3D touch back on and it actually worked! Hope this helps.
How exactly did you get live wallpapers to work while in low power mode? Mine only works when low power mode is off, so I'm curious
