New software 9.0.1 is making my apps to freeze

I downloaded 9.0.1 software and I have more problems now than ever before. All my apps freeze and I have to wait for 5-10 second to continue. Even now I was trying to type this and froze on me. Does anyone else have same issue and how to fix that? How can I go back to software 8.0.2?
