iOS 9 Setup Assistant

I recently upgraded my iPhone 5s to iOS 9 / iOS 9.0.1 and have gone through the setup without any problem.


After upgrading, it goes through the setup assistant where it would ask to Enable Location Services, Setup Pass Code, Find my iPhone, iCloud Drive Upgrade, Keychain etc. settings


Everything went fine except for the Enter your Phone Number part **(it's asking for a phone number in case the phone gets lost? or needs contact information in case of emergency?)


I didn't mind it at that time so I entered an incorrect phone number thinking I could change it later on. After the upgrade I checked the Settings on my phone and look up that settings to change the phone number and unfortunately I can't find it on the Settings.


Is there anyway of going back to that setup assistant so that I can change the phone number?

Sadly, I wasn't able to back up before upgrade to iOS 9

If I understand correctly you were asked to enter a phone number as part of the setup process on your phone when you updated to iOS 9 and are looking to update that number. From what you describe it sounds like you were setting up iCloud Keychain for the first time, since that uses your phone number to send a verification code to enable it on future devices:


Get help using iCloud Keychain

Make sure that the correct phone number is associated with your account:

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, tap Settings > iCloud > Keychain > Advanced. (In iOS 7, tap Settings > iCloud > Account > Keychain.) Make sure the phone number under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
