What does the violet stripe (bar) in iMovie means

What does the violet stripe (bar) in iMovie means

Hi everyone,

I do not understand the meaning of the violet bar seen in my photos as in this example. I was not able to find any explanation of the different colors (ok, orange in the lower part of a photo means "used" in film").

I am using the german version of iMovie 10.0.5 under OS X 10.9.5

Thanks in advance for any help

I "think" I know myself the answer now. But how mysterious :-) !

Anyway: It should mean the foto has been added a title. Because the titles are violet.

I would say the purple bar is added to clips that include people.

If you move your cursor over the purple line you will get some text about the clip like "Excessive shake" or "Group, wide shot" which comes from the clip analysis iMovie does.
