Q: icloud email account will not send emails

for some reason my macbook pro has developed an issue where it will not send emails. receives emails fine. i have used the connection doctor and it says the connection is fine but still will not send, message just stays in outbox.

i dont ahve this problem on my iphone 6 or my ipad 2. can anyone help please?
