    If you go into settings> iCloud> backup you can manually back up your phone. My iPhone 6s didn't back up to iCloud for the first 2 days I had it but then it eventually did. Hope this helps!

    Drew, thank you. From what I see, you can only do that if you don't have the iCloud Drive on...but I would not want to turn that off? So how do I backup manually, with the iCloud Drive turned to "on"? There is no function for that and have the phone now about 48 hours...  Backed it up to the computer just in case, but would want it all on the cloud.

    That's weird. My iCloud Drive is on and I can manually back up my phone...I'm not sure why it won't work for you. Sorry!
